More killings in Iraq

This sort of thing really makes my stomach turn. As I've said before, my biggest concern is that I don't see an end in sight. I have never been a supporter of this war, and things like this only convince me that I was right from the get-go.

People have always had to die for the cause of freedom in the past, it will always be the same. At least our president ghas the stomach for it.

As a wise man once said "Blood is freedoms stain"

It may take awhile but believe me, once an island of democracy occurs in the Middle East it will spread, and the sacrifices this countries sons and daughters have made will mean something. We must see it though to the conclusion.

I do agree at this point that pulling out of Iraq would be a mistake. However, my issue is with our "war" in general. Who are we to force our "freedom" on others?

I didn't mind removing Saddam. I certainly DO object to nation building. Where does it stop? The previous post refers to "an island of democracy in the Middle East." Does that mean Iran is next, followed by Syria, etc, etc?

I certainly don't have the stomach for that.

This country was built on Nation building, we have done it on every corner of the globe, and you should be prepared for Syria to be next.
